Biography

Sergio Tortora

Sergio Tortora was born in Italy, in 1971. He received the degree in Electronic Engineering in Rome from the University of “Tor Vergata” in 1998 with a study on quantum cascade lasers simulation. In 2000 he joined Elettronica S.p.A., Rome. At the beginning, he has been involved into design, development, test and research activities regarding the processes of real-time EW Data Analysis and Common Operational Picture reconstruction. Then, he held successive positions as EW Passive Systems’ Focal Point, Senior System Manager of innovative products in the area of Network Centric Systems, Project Manager of EW Operational Support Systems. Nowadays, he is the Head of the Operational Support & EW Centre Product Line.
