Luca Proietti

Luca Proietti was born in Tivoli (Rome), Italy, in 1988. He received his Bachelor Degree in Aerospace Engineering from “La Sapienza” University of Rome in 2010. In 2013, he received his Master Degree in Astronautical Engineering from “La Sapienza” University of Rome, working on Navigation Guidance and Control Systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

In 2013, he was in “La Sapienza” University of Rome as researcher in the field of missile NGC systems in collaboration with “MBDA Italia S.p.A.”. He then joined “Altran Italia S.p.A.” as consultant in aerospace and defense field working for “Elettronica S.p.A.” as system analyst.

In 2015, he joined “Elettronica S.p.A.” where he was appointed EO/IR systems engineer. He was involved in IR engagement scenario Simulation, HWIL Simulation, IR missile seekers and DIRCM systems research and development activities.

His areas of interest covered EO/IR systems, as well as their applications in EW systems for ground, naval and airborne platforms.
